Well, “Blondie” is at it again.

If you didn’t know, “Blondie” is a nickname people call Taylor Swift. The singer-songwriter is commonly known for her hit tracks “Shake It Off” or “Look What You Made Me Do,” or for her infamous Easter eggs.

After spending two years re-recording her music in hopes of getting her album rights from Scooter Braun, she is finally releasing a new album.

She announced VIA VMA’S (Video Music Awards) on August 28th. The album is named “Midnights”, and ironically, will be released at exactly Midnight on October 21st.

Taylor Swift has hopped around many genres of music throughout her 18-year music career, ranging from country-indie folk. The soon-to-be-released album is something her fans, “Swifties” have been anticipating since the surprise announcement; Picking at the track-releases swift has been posting through TikTok, as she is known as an “Easter egg queen.”

The central question is, will this album live up to the hype of her other albums? Or, is Taylor Swift becoming  “irrelevant” to society?

It’s a hard argument, but will have to be proven October 21st. At Midnight.
