We were preparing for our JV game in San Antonio this week against Wagner High School. I was definitely looking foward to the game more than our hour-and-15 minute bus ride.
My main goal on this bus ride was to not get fatigued or feel sluggish off of the bus ride. In order for that not to happen I would have to not fall asleep during the bus ride.
But that did not happen after a long day of school I fell asleep on the bus. We got off the bus and we saw that they were much bigger than us but to us, it wasn’t a problem at all.
We start the game off on offense and drive all the way down the field to the ten-yard line. We were so close to scoring on the very first drive but a bad snap went over our QB’s head and they scooped the ball and scored to make the game six to zero with us down.
At that point that is when things went south, we fumbled and they capitalized on that by scoring another touchdown.
This was very unexpected as we got the ball back another bad snap caused us to turnover on downs and gave Wagner the ball. They scored again with us down 22-0 in only the first quarter.
After that, our defense played great holding them to zero points in the first half. Fast forward towards the end of the game, we scored one touchdown and allowed one more touch with the result of the game being 28-6.h
