As the weather gets warmer, the vibes get better and JMBLYA comes closer.

Many people in Texas are gearing up for the wild music festival known as JMBLYA coming to Dallas, Houston, and Austin in May. There have been two announcements and another one later this week on which artists will be performing at the festival. The first part of the lineup was announced on Friday with Playboi Carti, Trippie Redd, and Ski Mask the Slump God as some of the main performers.

The second announcement wowed many people and even raised the ticket prices when finding out that Migos, Kevin Gates, and Cardi B will be appearing, too.

There should be a total of three announcements total but we will never know for sure because JMBLYA is unpredictable and has a nice way of surprising their fans with special guests.

The third announcement just dropped Friday, revealing that J Cole will be headlining JMBLYA this year.

However, some people aren’t pleased.

Jonathan Castillo, junior, couldn’t hide his disappointment. “I can’t believe this, I’m selling my ticket.”

Others are staying positive and say there are other artists they’re interested in seeing, or they are going to the wild festival itself.

Sophomore Stella Yull said, “I paid $50 for my ticket. Others are going to have to pay $80. I’m still going.”
