On August 28th Starbucks announced the Pumpkin Spice latte was to be officially added back to the menu, officially marking the start of fall. With the cold weather of fall approaching it’s prime time to update your wardrobe, and purchase new clothes. Trends in fashion come and go, but one thing that never leaves during winter is the freezing cold weather. Therefor it is essential for every fall wardrobe to have a jacket.

2018 is almost over, and there has been many fashion trends, however with fall approaching a new batch of trends is among us. Among these trend there is Cardigans, Furs, Faux furs sherpa, turtlenecks, long boots, leather jackets, suede jackets and skirts, corduroy, and more. Fall fashion is all about staying warm while looking good, and wearing those deep reds or light browns that have come to be known as fall colors. However trends tend to not follow the social norm, some odd trends for the 2018 fall season are Magenta, animal print clothing, 80’s color blocking, Ruching, Camo, side bags, and mix match patterns. At the end of the day trend will always change. It’s your choice weather to follow those trends or go your own way.

Fashion is not exclusive to trends and the rich, fashion is what you make it, and there’s no better time than fall to truly express yourself. The Fall weather allows for all kinds of outfits, from large overcoats, to tiny shorts, weather in Texas makes it all wearable. Today clothes are very expensive, and it’s no surprise most people aren’t able to afford a new wardrobe every time the weather changes. However there is always the option of the thrift store. While it may take some dedication, time, and looking it is very possible to purchase a completely new wardrobe with pants, jackets, and more all for 100$. Thrift stores are a great way to find clothes to wear everyday, and find quality jackets for cheap.

Fall fashion is what you make it, weather it be layering jackets on top of jackets to keep warm, Or even wearing shorts and a t shirt to avoid the heat. Keeping in touch with trends, and looking cool is always fun. However the one thing never to forget during times of cold weather like these is to dress warm and stay comfortable.
