Valentine’s Day fudge
A sweet treat for the holiday

February 11, 2019
It’s almost Valentine’s Day, how exciting. I just love love. Just for Valentine’s, in this article I am going to guide you through baking a sweet treat for your funny Valentine. And what we’re making is Valentine’s Day fudge. This is for all my fellow chocolate lovers.
The ingredients for this sweet treat are:
1 ½ cups of semi-sweet (or milk) chocolate
1 can of condensed milk (14 oz., divided
2 pinches of salt, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 ½ cups of white chocolate chips, red food coloring and 36 heart candies
What you need to do first is get a baking pan (I used 8×8) and line it with foil, then spray it with cooking spray. Put your semi-sweet chocolate and half a can of condensed milk (right over ½ cup) in a medium sized saucepan. Heat this over a medium-low heat, while stirring persistently until the chocolate chips melts and the two ingredients are smooth and mixed thoroughly. Turn off your heat and mix in ½ a teaspoon of vanilla extract and one pinch of salt. Be quick to pour this into your baking pan and then let chill for at least 30 minutes. After your chocolate is chilled, remove your pan from the fridge.
Next, add your white chocolate chips and the second half of your condensed milk to a clean medium sized saucepan. Again, heat this mixture over a medium-low heat, stirring persistently. Stir until smooth and mixed thoroughly. Remove your confection from the stove and stir in ½ a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Add 3-4 drops of red food coloring for a light pink color. Quickly pour this over your first layer and spread evenly. Immediately top this with Valentine’s conversation heart candies. Let this cool first in room temperature and then chill in the fridge until the white chocolate is set.
Evenly slice into squares (should be one heart candy per square) and now they’re ready to serve. Enjoy your sweet treat! Insanely sweet, by the way. (I didn’t put heart candies on mine because nobody in my family likes them).
