In the recent switch to online classes, questions about what CollegeBoard has planned for the 2020 AP Tests abound.
But on Friday, April 3, students were informed of the new plan for AP tests.
According to CollegeBoard, “Exams will be given from May 11-22. You can take exams at home or in school, if they reopen. Each subject’s exam will be taken on the same day at the same time, worldwide. Makeup test dates will be available for each subject from June 1-5.”

The format of the exams was also shared in a recent email sent to those subscribed to CollegeBoard. “Most exams will have one or two free-response questions, and each question will be timed separately.”

The tests can be taken on any devices you have access to, with the option of typing or sending photos of your responses. Most exams will be 45 minutes long, with an extra 5 minutes for uploading responses. Tests will still be scored on a 1-5 scale, and scores are scheduled to be released in July.
