Who: Ryan Nash, AP Statistics and OnRamps Statistics teacher
How did you get into teaching? And if you would ever quit teaching what would you do?
“I always wanted to teach but chose to pursue marketing after getting into business school. After a few years, I was teaching a friend how to play backgammon, and they were like, you are really good at explaining this. I decided to make the switch to teaching. If I quit teaching, I’d probably go back to marketing or data analysis, project management and event management.”
Whats your favorite thing about teaching AP and OnRamps Statistics?
“My favorite part of teaching is coming up with new, current and unique problems for students to address by analyzing data.”

“Spending time with my wife, spending time with my dog, fishing, sports, video games, backgammon, nature.”
Are there any final fun facts you’d want students to know about you?

My mom taught English and has been to almost every country in the world. My brother has owned a number of businesses on 6th street and in other states and solves complex money transfer software issues for the IRS among other global traders.
