From neon wigs to neon lights, the blackout pep rally is for many the most exciting of the year. Highlighted by students in their parents construction vests and pink ballerina tutus, the event was the build-up to the football game against Weiss.
Treyvon Williams, 11, decked out in neon from a pink wig to green glasses, could be spotted from across the gym.
“The drum line was the best. I loved the lights around the drums and how they sounded,” Williams said.
I think we could all agree that the band is what makes the pep rally hype and fun.
